The word
pajama which originally derives from the persian word "payjameh". The
word pay means 'legs' and jameh means 'garment'.
On 19th
September 2013,Thursday, Nursery section celebrated pajama party, as children were introduced to the
concept of "Night"
Teacher's
explained what is night time, by telling them about the moon that are seen at night,
shining brightly in the dark sky.
Children then did the worksheet on day and night. Further, children were
asked to sleep, where the class lights were switched off to depict night time;
and teacher sang a song for them:
Are you sleeping,
Are you sleeping,
Oh, Children dear !
