The ability to identify different shapes is
an important visual discrimination skill.
Nursery
section celebrated ‘Star shape day’ on Tuesday, 17th September,
2013. The classrooms were decorated with Star shape cutouts.
Teacher
explained that Star has 5 points and she also drew the ‘Star’ shape on the
black board. During the concept time children told their experiences about the
sky during the night. This was later followed by a worksheet.
During Tiffin
time, children were excited to share their views with the teacher about the
Star shape food they brought in their Tiffin boxes! (Star shape Roti, Star
shape Wafers, biscuits etc.)
Towards the
end Teacher sang one of the children’s favourite Rhyme!
