"Dancing with the feet is one thing but dancing with the heart is another"
Navratri is a popular Hindu festival of culture, faith and celebration signifies the victory of good over the evil. It is celebrated by worshiping Goddess Durga and her nine different avatars. Each and every day has its importance and meaning. People worship the Goddess and try to enhance their physical, mental and spiritual practice in these nine days.
A riot of colours and the festive spirit could be seen at Witty Kids Chikoowadi as it celebrated the Navratri festival on 12th October 2018. Students of Primary section came dressed in traditional Navratri attire and danced on the garba beats with great vigour and joy. It was a great treat for the eyes to watch these little dandiya dancers dancing with splendor. The positivity and energy exuberating out of the colourful costumes combined with the enthusiasm of dancing to the dandiya folk songs charged the entire campus with gaiety. The children’s joy knew no bounds and for some it was definitely an experience of a lifetime. The students went back thrilled to revel in the festive season at home too.
