what is your name?
I have three sides,
and three corners,
Tommy triangle is my name.
Learning and recognizing basic shapes are so much fun and motivating when it is hands-on. Children need the opportunity to create and explore with shapes to learn what different shapes look like and how to make them. The little Wittian’s of Playgroup section celebrated ‘Triangle day’ at Witty World, Goregaon East on Friday 13th September 2019. The classroom was well decorated with triangle shape concrete objects and flashcards. The teacher explained triangle shape by showing different triangle shape objects and sang rhymes related to it. Children enjoyed dabbing using red paint on the Mr. Tommy triangle worksheet and they were also encouraged to walk on the balancing beam kept in the shape of a triangle. They had great fun during their break time to have an interactive conversation about their triangle shape snacks brought in their tiffin box. The children could recognize the triangle shape with fun filled activities!!!
