Diwali is one of the India’s biggest
festival. It
symbolizes
the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over
ignorance.
With
bright and shining decorations of Diwali all around, little Wittians of Witty
World, Chikoowadi celebrated Diwali with great devotion and enthusiasm on Wednesday,
23rd October, 2019.
Children came dressed in beautiful traditional attires. Children were
told about the importance of the festival through a skit which was presented by
talented teachers. They also
enjoyed watching Diwali slides on LED and loved drawing beautiful Diyas and
Diwali scenery in their scrap books and thereafter coloured the same. Day ended
with the message of playing a
safe Diwali by saying 'No to Crackers' and children were told about the
significance of decorating the houses with rangoli, earthen lamps, wearing new
clothes, eating sweets and greeting friends and relatives.
With
great fun children learnt a lot about the festival and everyone went home carrying
the message of love, peace and the joy.
