SPARKLE- A TALENT
HUNT
Experiences leave impressions for the future.
Diwali the festival of light symbolizes the victory of
righteousness and the lifting of spiritual darkness – the victory of good over
evil and the glory of light. Welcoming the festival of lights and rejoicing in the festive mood, Wittians unfolded their creative abilities on a
two-day event through a string of activities. On 22nd October 2019, Tealight holder and Diya making
with origami was planned for students of grade I - V. The dexterity
with which our young artists worked and the enthusiasm with which they
participated was exemplary.
Young children have
an ocean of hidden talent amongst them and it was displayed at Witty Kids on
23rd October 2019 at the ‘Sparkle Talent Hunt’. The competition nurtures the inner self of students to help them spread
their wings to fly high and serve as a powerful medium of developing the confidence and personality
in a holistic manner, the experience received humongous participation.
The
budding artists of Witty kids let their imaginations run wild, as they created
wonderful artistic masterpieces, combining the art of origami with drawings in
a compulsory category. They brought the fish aquarium, lantern and jungle theme
alive with their awesome and colourful portrayals.
Wittians
were all charged up and were waiting to showcase the talents pursued
by them. Students prepared themselves very well for various categories keeping
in mind the theme of the year ‘Harmony’. Students came dressed up in vibrant and colourful
attires with different props to perform confidently. The performances were
captivating and the energy commendable. The competition
included categories such as Tap Your Feet, Playing Musical Instruments, Witty
Chef and Fancy Dress. The participants
mesmerized the spectators with their melodious voice, rhythmic movements and
their skills in handling musical instruments. Many students displayed
their talent by dancing on folk music that left the audience spellbound.
The Fancy Dress category with the theme Cultural Twist motivated
students to respect and learn different languages. Watching each other's
performance instilled a healthy competitive spirit in the students as it
inspired them to perform better. It was a tough task for the judges to
select the best.
All the students were given participation
certificates and the winners in each category will be awarded with commendation
certificates. The day ended well by dancing on the music beats and with
loud greetings of ‘HAPPY DIWALI’.
