A little seed, for me to sow.
A little Earth, to help it grow.
A little sun, a little shower,
A little while, and then – A Flower!!!
There is a growing understanding and recognition of the power of children’s early thinking and learning as well as a belief that science may be a particularly important domain in early childhood, serving not only to build a basis for future scientific understanding but also to build important skills and attitudes for learning. On January 21, 2020, little Wittians of Nursery at Witty International School, Udaipur was shown different stages of the plant life cycle. Teachers explained the process of the development and growth of the plant which included sowing the seeds in the soil, sprinkling water and providing the sunlight to them daily. Children were very curious and eager to know about the same.
This activity provided the opportunity for children to develop a range of skills, either explicitly or implicitly.
