Indian festivals are a reflection of the culture of our country. Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the important Hindu festivals celebrated throughout India with great devotion and vigour.
Students of Grade 4 and 5 at Witty International School, PB, made
eco-friendly clay Ganesh idols on Thursday, 20th August 2020. Wittians
were invited to indulge in a creative workshop conducted by Ms. Meeta Suraiya, a renowned artist
(sculpting - gold medalist). The children were very enthusiastic and the
expression of seriousness etched on their faces was a delight to see as they
skilfully moulded the soft clay to give different colourful shapes and diverse
expressions of Lord Ganesha. Amidst
cheers of happiness and excitement, children learnt the importance of this
festival and displayed amazing ingenuity as
they gave vent to their artistic energies by making
beautiful idols.
