Sweeter than
honey, tastier than curd, pleasanter indeed than any happiness and joy is the
company, is the power of Lord Krishna. Janmashtami celebrates the birthday of
Lord Krishna.
We, at Witty International School, PB, Primary Section
invited our students of Grade 4 and 5 to celebrate this day with a
workshop on ‘Janmashtami Activity’ on Tuesday, 11th August 2020. The
sessions conducted by Ms.
Vaishali Shah Jaiswal, an authorized teacher at Camlin and Hobby Ideas
(Pidilite) and Ms. Meeta Suraiya, a renowned artist (Sculpting - gold
medalist) enabled our children to understand the importance of this festival as
well as they enjoyed creating their perfectly glorious cradles. They
also decorated it with flowers and other paraphernalia.
Wittians of Grade
3 had a delightful experience in creating Lord Krishna’s beautiful
feather crowns and colourful flutes with Ms. Mansi Gawde
and Ms. Nivedita D’souza.
All in all, it was an enjoyable
day and all the children had immense fun as they
together celebrated Janmashtami festival with great zest and zeal.
