"Travel has been said
to broaden the mind, exploring the world and seeing the broad vistas and
cultures that people of the world offer."
World Tourism day is observed on September 27th worldwide for promoting and sustaining tourism
throughout the world. This day is dedicated to create absolute awareness about
tourism and how it affects the economic, political, social and cultural values
of any destination.
Students of grade 3 to 10 of Witty International School, Bhilwara celebrated
World Tourism Day on the virtual platform. They explored the beautiful,
fascinating, striking places of India through a virtual tour conducted online
and it was really looking realistic. The two dimensional and three dimensional
views were shown for some famous places of India like Taj Mahal, Ajanta Ellora
Caves, Kailash Temple, Victoria Memorial, Rock Garden etc. also the street videos
were shown to the students which was completely a new adventure for them. Students
gained a lot of information about the different places of the world virtually. They
also understood the significance of tourism and its impact on development of
our nation. Students enjoyed this new and wonderful experience of visiting the
places through the virtual platform.
"Nothing teaches you better than travelling. So, travel to
expand your knowledge". Happy World Tourism Day!
