Pajama Party - PG (2012-2013)

It was a time for Pajama Party for Playgroup section on Wednesday 20th February, 2013.
This was very unusual for children to come to school in their night suit.
All children came in their night suit.
Children made star wrist band and were very happy to wear it on their wrist.
Children did magic painting to reveal a star.
Thus, it was a different kind of party for children.

GOOD LUCK............

It was a memorable day today when Witty Staff members wished the first batch of Grade X students good luck for their forthcoming  Board Exams.
In a very simple ceremony, the students performed Saraswati Puja and offered flowers to Goddess of knowledge 'Saraswati.'
The Director, Principal and teachers gave their blessings to the students. All the students were presented with a good luck card. A beautiful  good luck message by Director Dr. Vinay Jain and COO Mr. Bijo Kurian was read out by Principal Ms. Shubha Govil and copy of the message was presented to each of the students.
Director, Mrs. Preeti Sogani blessed all the students and motivated them to give their best!

Wittians join the Nation in celebrating Swami Vivekananda's 150th birth anniversary at Udaipur

Let the youth wake up to make a better tomorrow. Wittians at WIS Udaipur practiced Surya Namaskar on the Occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekanand.
Student all over the country got together today at 11:00 AM and performed ‘Surya Namaskar’ as a tribute to the great Educationist.
It is beneficial to practice Surya Namaskar early in the morning. The early morning sun rays are rich source of vitamin D that is necessary to get strong bones and clear vision.

Regular practice of Surya Namaskar helps in losing extra calories and reducing fat. It helps to stay fit. Practicing Surya Namaskar is the easiest way to be in shape

Celebration of Republic Day - Jr. Kg. (2012-2013)

The children of Junior Kg class celebrated Republic day on 25th of January, 2013. During the Republic Day celebrations, children wore dresses with colours from the tri-colour of our National flag.
The children were informed that Republic Day is celebrated on 26th of January of every year because India became a free and republic nation on 26th January 1950. The teacher explained the importance of Republic Day to the children.
The teacher educated the children by telling that Republic Day is celebrated every year across the nation and as a traditional ceremony the present President of our nation will hoist the national flag in New Delhi; after which he will address the people of this nation with his Republic Day speech.
Children also received information about the national symbols such as national flag, national anthem, national emblem, national bird and national animal. The Republic Day celebration included activity sessions wherein, children drew the National flag on their scrap book. Later they had great fun dancing to the tunes of the patriotic songs.

It's Celebration time at WIS, Udaipur

WOW! What a coincidence to have two celebrations on one day. The pre primary section enjoyed celebrating Valentine's Day and Basant Panchami together. The tiny tots of WIS looked vibrant in different shades of yellow. The children were told that what is Basant Panchami, whom do we worship on this day. They were told that  it is time to bid farewell to the winter season and welcome the upcoming festival Holi. Valentine's Day added joy & lusture to their day. They were told that it is on this day that we spread the message of love. We give sweets and cards to the persons we love.
They also enjoyed the activity of making a Valentine Day Card for their Mom and Dad and wishing each other "A Very Happy Valentine's Day."
