Sparkle - A Talent Hunt, Primary Section WIS Pawan Baug



 “Believe in yourself. You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you imagine.” 

Each child has different qualities and talents, which can influence the development of confidence in children. With the belief of nurturing the intrinsic qualities of students, personality development and removing the fear of stage among students, Witty International School, Pawan Baug organised ‘SPARKLE- A Talent Hunt’ on 21st October, 2016. The school welcomed an enthusiastic inflow of the most talented Wittians for this event.
There was a complete ambience of joy. Wittians possessing varied talent abilities and interest buried deep within them were actively engaged in exhibiting their talent. Their laughter and smiles indicated the sense of involvement. Students had to participate in any one of the following categories:
‘Rhythmic Dance’, ‘Incredible India’- Fancy Dress, ‘Fanimals’, ‘Laughter Challenge’- Standup Comedy, ‘Anchoring’ (Reality Show and Discoveries and Inventions) and ‘Table talk’. ‘Complete me’ was a compulsory category for all the participants.
This event helped children to develop their creativity, observation, concentration, self- expression, creative and artistic skills and boosted the confidence within them to come forward.
Every student was awarded Participation Certificate as an acknowledgement of their effort and talent. Individual achievers in each category will be awarded Certificate of Achievement. School is proud to host the talent show every year as it believes that developing creativity in children is crucial to success in all walks of life.

Best out of Waste Competition at WIS,Udaipur




With the motive to make children aware of use of waste material, and to give them a message to reduce waste to save our future, a Best out of Waste Competition was organized at WIS, Udaipur for the students of Grade - I to VIII. Students used different items like waste bangles, plastic bottles, old CDs etc. and made fantastic wall-hangings, vases and show pieces. The students not only enjoyed the competition but also learnt how to reuse the waste material in a creative way. 















Diwali celebrated at WIS,Bhilwara (21.10.16)



 Diwali a contraction of  Sanskrit ‘deepavali’ which translates into ‘row of lights’ involves the lighting of small clay lamps filled with oil to signify the triumph of good over evil. These lamps are kept on during the night in order to ensure Laxmi, the Hindu goddess of happiness, feels welcome.

Pre-primary Wittians came dressed in traditional clothes for Diwali party. They enjoyed listening to the story of Diwali narrated by teachers. Children of Senior KG and Nursery recited rhymes and kids of Junior KG enjoyed dancing with their peers on melodious music. They enjoyed eating snacks and sweets in the lunch. Children of Play Group and Nursery enjoyed colouring the Deepak worksheet. Children of Junior KG and Senior KG enjoyed drawing Deepak and crackers in scrap books.

The tiny tots of play group enjoyed the show and tell activity on Thursday, October 20, 2016. The kids came in red, blue, yellow coloured clothes with same coloured object and they also brought picture cards of different shapes such as sun, ice cream, etc. The toddlers spoke few words about the object and picture card, which they brought. The kids also did the balloon dabbing of red, blue, yellow colour on worksheet and they also walked on the shapes such as circle, triangle and square. Through this activity, children did recap this was a fun learning experience for them.

Fancy Dress activity at WIS,Bhilwara (Jr.Kg. 20.10.16)



Every day is a learning day for WIS students and that too learning in a play  way method.

Thursday, October 20,,2016 was a day when the Jr kg Wittians  came dressed up as insects.. A recap was done of all the insects taught in the class. Kids had fun in dressing up as insects and enjoyed the activity and they also spoke a few lines describing about the insects they had dressed in . It was really amazing to see kids dressed up according to the themes.

Festival of lights Deepavali celebrated at WIS,Bhilwara (21.10.16)



Deepavali is here, Deepavali is here
That grand festival of Lights
That ends evil after a protracted fight
When good with all its might
Leads us from darkness to Light.

That gorgeous festival of snacks and sweets
Where everyone enjoys a royal feast
When old and young with delight meet
With love and affection all hearts beat.
Diwali is the festival of lights which falls in the month of 'Ashwin' according to Hindu calendar. 'Deepawali' in Hindi means a row of diyas. Almost every house and street is decorated with lamps and lights on the day of Diwali.On the day of Diwali, Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya after exile of 14 years. People of Ayodhya welcomed him by lighting diyas. It gives a message of love, brotherhood and friendship. The heart of everyone should be illuminated with light.  Diwali is a festival which marks the victory of Rama over Ravana that is victory of good over evil.
This beautiful festival of Diwali was celebrated at WIS, Bhilwara on Friday, October 21,2016. The programme began with a wonderful prayer dance on the beats of “Deva O Maheshwarah” highlighting the message of Diwali and invoking God’s blessings. After that, students of Grade III recited a poem which emphasized on the values of Diwali. Grade VIII students created awareness among students by giving them ample of reasons of avoiding harmful crackers during the festival.  A wonderful Nritya Natika, depicting one event of Ramayan was presented by the students of Grade VIII, which kept everyone spell bound.  The best and most exciting part of Diwali celebration was the Visit of a potter in the school; he taught the students different clay items like diyas, pots, piggy banks etc. All the students were quiet excited to have their own handmade clay items.

At the end Ma’am Principal wished all the students and teachers a joyous Diwali. After the celebration the children went back to their classes and continued their joy in sharing the sweets with each other. Thus, everyone went home carrying the message of love, peace and joy of the festival.

Diwali Celebration by Pre-Primary Section at WIS, Malad (2016-2017)


Diwali Celebration at Witty Kids.
Pretty diyas light up the place,
Rockets vanish without a trace,
Be it night or be it day,
It's crackers, sparkles all the way! 
Diwali is the festival of lights,
Filled with fun and happy sights,
The festival mood is in the air,
Let’s burst those crackers, but take care. 
          Happy Diwali to one and all !!!





Diwali Celebration by Little Toddlers!


Little Wittians of Pre-Primary came beautifully dressed in traditional attire. They enjoyed making rangoli with flowers and further decorating it with wax diyas brought by them. Kids enjoyed dancing with peers and also the festive snacks brought by them. Children were wished a happy and safe Diwali.

Nursery Kids Enjoyed Nuts Day (20.10.16)





The tiny tots of Nursery enjoyed Nut Day on Thursday, October 20, 2016 .The kids brought nuts such as Almonds, Peanuts, Cashew nuts, Walnuts etc. They ate nuts in lunch. Through this, they learnt 'Nn' says Nut.

Fancy Dress Activity at WIS, Udaipur




Fuzzy Wuzzy, Creepy crawly caterpillar funny.
You will be a butterfly when the days are sunny.
Winging, flinging, dancing, springing
Butterfly so yellow.
You were once a caterpillar,
Wiggly, wiggly  fellow.
Every day is a learning day for Witty students and that too learning through fun way method.
The little Wittians of Jr.KG came dressed as creepy crawlies and crawled everywhere. They spoke few lines and enjoyed reciting small rhymes about the character they were dressed as.
They did a recap of creepy crawlies and enjoyed fancy dress activity with their peers.

Take me out to the ocean
Take me out to the sea
Show me the foamy waves rolling there
As I breathe in the salty air
Let me look, look, look at the ocean
see the sea and explore
for its fun to dive from
the top to the ocean floor!
Children of Playgroup participated in the Fancy Dress Activity. They came dressed as Marine animals and enjoyed enacting the same.
They enjoyed reciting rhymes and spoke few lines about the character they dressed as.
They did a recap of Marine animals through learning with fun method.
