Halloween Celebration by Nursery Section (2020-21), Witty World, Goregaon East


 

Knock, Knock, Halloween is here!

Walking up the garden path,

I spy a yummy sweet,

Halloween is here again,

Knock, knock-trick or treat?

Little Wittians & teachers of the Nursery Section on Thursday, 29th October 2020 came dressed in their spookiest best to celebrate Halloween on the virtual platform. They enjoyed making pumpkins and dancing to foot tapping spooky songs. It was surely a spooky day filled with loads of fun!

Navratri and Dussehra celebrated at WIS,Atun Road, Bhilwara (23.10.2020)


 








India is called a land of spiritual country. Every festival in India is celebrated in a unique way. The festival of Dussehra and Durga Puja symbolizes triumph of good over evil. Dusshera is also known as "Vijayadashmi". Hindu Community observes ten day ceremony of fast, and rituals to honour the victory of Lord Rama over the evil king Ravana.

Students of Witty International School, Bhilwara celebrated Dusshera and Navratri festival on Friday October 23, 2020 with great zeal and zest. Students of grade 3 to 10 came dressed up in colorful and traditional attires. The celebration started with a prayer of Goddess Durga. Students learned about the festivals from the PPTs and the videos shown to them. This time students rocked the floor with dandiya beats and garba dance on the virtual platform. A short video depicting the main events of Ramayana was also shown to the students. Students enjoyed the vibrant day with great enthusiasm and exuberance!

Students of Witty World, Shastri Nagar, Bhilwara on October 23, Friday celebrated this festive occasion with great zeal and zest. Students came dressed up in beautiful, colorful traditional dresses. They learned lot about Navratri and Dussehra festival from teacher's explanation, AV and song. They rocked the floor with dandiya beats and garba rounds.

Dussehra Celebration by Jr.KG Section (2020-21), Witty World, Goregaon East


 

Dussehra Celebration

Navaratri, culminating with Dussehra, is a cultural festival of great importance and significance for all. Teacher had an informal conversation with the children about Navaratri and Dussehra.

On Friday, 23rd October 2020 Jr.KG children of Witty World, Goregaon East enjoyed coming dressed in traditional wear, dancing on the foot-tapping Garba and dandiya songs with the dandiya sticks made by them. The auspicious day was well spent by seeking blessings from goddess Durga.

Children enjoyed the colourful day with great enthusiasm and exuberance!
