Field Trip to Supermarket by Playgroup Section, Witty World (2015-16)


To market, to market,
To buy some figs,
To market to market,
Jiggety Jig.
To the supermarket,
 to buy some fruit,
To the supermarket ,
To buy yummy veggies.

A field trip is experiential learning at its best. The theme for the month for PG was fruits and vegetables, and as an extension of this theme children were taken on a supermarket visit.
Little Wittians of Playgroup class at, Witty World Bangur nagar and WIS RCL, visited  D-Mart supermarket  on Monday, 31st  August 2015.For the kids, the trip was an adventure. They had fun there, going through all the aisles, pointing out to their favourite products and toys..The highlight of the trip was, of course, the fruits and vegetables section which the children explored with great enthusiasm.

Wittians contributing in social contribution


The students of Grade Xl of Witty International attended the First Aid Training Session at M.B Hospital on Basic Life saving skills. They witnessed a guest lecture on First Aid and Safety awareness and accident delivered by veteran doctors and health professionals of RNT Medical College. The training enhanced the confidence and knowledge of the Wittians to deal with first aid emergencies. The session was designed to inculcate skills critical to saving life and minimizing the severity of injury and develop Basic Life saving Skills. The students will form an association with City Administration to help the victims met with accidents on the various sites of the city to provide assistance and thereby help in social contribution.









Report Writing Competition at WIS, Udaipur


Report Writing Competition stimulates student’s ability to think innovatively in both academic and professional settings. The Competition aims to instill creativity in students by encouraging and rewarding innovative thinking.The young brains of Grade VI, Grade VII, and Grade VIII expressed themselves in writing a Newspaper Report in a purely creative format.






National Sports Day Celebrated at WIS,Bhilwara (31.08.15)




Games and sports are an integral part of a student’s life. A student should study hard to be successful in examinations. But, he should also play games and sports to enjoy the health and vigour of life.
Keeping this in mind, students of WIS, Bhilwara celebrated National Sports Day to mark the birthday of hockey wizard Dhyan Chand , who won gold medals for India. A quiz based on Sports was held for primary students where they participated with great enthusiasm. Through a poem students highlighted the fact that along with bookish learning, a student should spend his time on games and sports.

Rakshabandhan Celebration by Pre-primary section WIS,Malad [2015-16]

Witty Kids celebrated the auspicious festival of Rakshabandhan on Friday, 28th August 2015. Children of Playgroup, Nursery and Jr. KG section made colourful eye catching rakhis, whereas Sr. KG made it special by making envelopes too. The school was vividly decorated with colourful rakhis, thus arousing the spirit of brotherhood and strengthening the bond of a brother and sisters relationship. Our little Wittians came in traditional clothes. The happiness of the festival was visible on our little one's faces. The day was full of fun and merriment was floating all around.

Wittians celebrated Raksha Bandhan on August 28th 2015, to strengthen the bond of love and foster the feeling of sharing and caring between brothers and sisters. The excitement of the day could be seen on the faces of the little ones, as they came dressed in their traditional best. The children right from Playgroup to Sr. Kg. were bubbling with excitement as all of them geared up to make colourful Rakhis, decorative envelopes and cards. A double delight was in store for the children, as in keeping with the festive mood, they shared some yummy Mithais with each other. A  hands on experience of the Rakhi ceremony, where tilak was applied to the child’s forehead before the Rakhi was tied, added to the spirit of the occasion.

The festive mood was infectious and prevalent throughout the day.








Wittians Showcased Bond of Love and Care- Rakhshabandhan at WIS, Udaipur


Rakhi is a sacred thread embellished with sister's care, love and affection for her brother. What can be a better expression of love than self made rakhi. Rakhi Making Activity was conducted on 28th August, 2015. The students of Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 3 made beautiful rakhis on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. They made big shiny rakhies and further decorated them with mirrors, glitters, stickers and beads. Through this activity they were taught the importance as well as the significance of Raksha Bandhan. The students enjoyed the activity and were thrilled to celebrate the festival.

Rakhi Celebration at WIS, Udaipur


The festival of bond security, attachment and love was celebrated at WIS, Udaipur. The children came beautifully dressed up in traditional attire and had an essence of festivity.
They beautifully crafted the rakhies decorated the thali, and enjoyed gift wrapping and sang songs. In a special assembly conducted on the occasion they were enlightened about the importance of the same. They also brought sweets in their tiffins. 


Visit to Fruit Market (Playgroup) on 27.08.2015, WIS, Bhilwara


Fruits are  the sweet  and fleshy product of a tree  or other plant  that contains seed and can be eaten as food. The sparkling stars of playgroup went to the Fruit Market on Thursday,  27 , August  2015.with great fun and joy. The kids saw various types of fruits such as watermelon, kiwi, green apple, red apple, banana, pineapple , etc.They  learnt the colours and sizes of fruits and they learnt which fruit can be eaten with seed and which one without seed. Through this interesting activity, sparkling stars could recognize various fruits and they also  learnt that we buy fruits from fruit market.

Raksha Bandhan was celebrated at WIS, Bhilwara  to show bond of  love and affection between brother and sister. Raksha Bandhan, means "Knot of Protection". The festival keeps the deep rooted culture of the country alive, strengthens the relationship of siblings and ensures togetherness.
Students learnt  the value of this auspicious occasion by presenting several programs. They gave a brief introduction of this festival through a speech.They presented melodious songs and recited poem which exhibited the beautiful relationship of love, care and affection between siblings. Students tied rakhis on each other’s wrists and greeted each other by offering sweets. All rakhis were made by students themselves under the direction of their teacher. The school environment was filled with brotherhood and affection. A lifelong promise of protection was made by the brothers. Sisters also prayed for a prosperous future and a long life of their brothers.
Today, together with Raksha Bandhan celebration, for the first time in school, one more important day was highlighted by Wittians i.e. Sanskrit Diwas. Students came up with inspiring Sanskrit speeches and songs. They focused on the fact that Sanskrit is one of the most important languages of the Indo-European family and has a very rich and continuous history of nearly  five thousand years.

The celebration was rounded off with an inspiring speech by Ma’am Principal.
