A constant support, I know you are never far
Your love and care is a treasure I hold dear
This Raksha Bandhan, I promise to be there
Whenever you may need me, you’ll find me standing near…
Raksha Bandhan was celebrated at WIS, Bhilwara  to show bond of  love and affection between brother and sister. Raksha Bandhan, means "Knot of Protection". The festival keeps the deep rooted culture of the country alive, strengthens the relationship of siblings and ensures togetherness.
Students learnt  the value of this auspicious occasion by presenting several programs. They gave a brief introduction of this festival through a speech. They presented melodious songs and recited poem which exhibited the beautiful relationship of love, care and affection between siblings. Students tied rakhis on each other’s wrists and greeted each other by offering sweets. All rakhis were made by students themselves under the direction of their teacher. The school environment was filled with brotherhood and affection. A lifelong promise of protection was made by the brothers. Sisters also prayed for a prosperous future and a long life of their brothers.
Today, together with Raksha Bandhan celebration, for the first time in school, one more important day was highlighted by Wittians i.e. Sanskrit Diwas. Students came up with inspiring Sanskrit speeches and songs. They focused on the fact that Sanskrit is one of the most important languages of the Indo-European family and has a very rich and continuous history of nearly  five thousand years.

The celebration was rounded off with an inspiring speech by Ma’am Principal.
