Field Trip to Restaurant by Jr.KG Section (2019-20), Witty World, Bangur Nagar

To Restaurant, to restaurant
To have some yummy food.
Home again, home again
Jiggity jig
To Restaurant, to restaurant
To have some yummy soup;
Home again, home again
Jiggity jog.
Where does food come from? While this sounds like a simple enough question, the process of cooking and preparing food can seem very mysterious to young children, especially when that food is from the magical world of restaurants. A tour of the restaurant was given to our Jr.KG Wittians of Witty World Bangur Nagar on Thursday 30th January, 2020 the kitchen revealed not only how food is cooked, but how restaurants cook their food similarly and differently to people at home. An added bonus to restaurant field trips was that they provided an opportunity to learn about where and how the food is eaten. “It’s better to see something and act than to hear about it a thousand times.” Every expedition made is an experience which leaves students pondering and implores them to think. The students were enthusiastic and excited to visit the restaurant. Children met the chef, waiter, cashier .They learnt about the job of a chef, payment procedures and as to who serves them food in a restaurant. It was a fun filled activity for the children .They sat on the couches and enjoyed being the king i.e. the customer, around whom everything revolves.
It was truly an amazing learning experience.

Field Trip to Super Market by Nursery at Witty World, Udaipur

“Carrots, peas and broccoli
Vegetables are good for me,
For my snack and in my lunch,
Veggies sticks are great to munch.”

Field trips not only provide alternative educational opportunities for our children, but also provide students to take a break from their normal routine and experience hands on learning.
On Thursday, January 30, 2020  Nursery toddlers of Witty World, Udaipur were taken on a Field Trip to Reliance Mart where they explored the store and learnt about the daily required groceries. They had fun going through the entire store. Students were informed about fruits and vegetables that are a good source of vitamins, minerals and fiber for ample nourishment which were on display.
Overall the trip was excited and fun filled for the little Wittians.

3rd Annual Sports Day Finale of Grade 5 to 9 at WIS ,Bhilwara

If you train hard,
You’ll not only be hard,
You’ll be hard to beat.
The joy of achieving the pinnacle of success, the despair of losing out on the gold medal was gawked at Witty Carnival from 26th January to 29th January, 2020. Indeed the fabulous weather of January spurred up excitement not only in students but also among the aficionado parents and teachers.
The implacably clean and lavish grounds of Witty International outshined with colorful banners and flags of four different houses. Thrills and cheers of the students reverberated the entire campus reinforcing energy and team spirit among the participants.
No other person or outside force has a greater influence on a child than the parents and so to boost up the morale of our young athletes Witty invited parents who not only witnessed their ward participating in various events but also become participants in various sports and leagues.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important and this was well proved by our students of grade 5 to 9 who competed in different races like 100mts, 200mts, 400mts relay, and 100mts sprint for both boys and girls. A tug- of- war between the different houses added to the enjoyment when the matches of football, basketball, badminton and cricket began.
The two new add-ons to the sports that is javelin and shot put were well partaken by our senior students.
Added to the glory of event were a melodious welcome song and a spectacular classical dance performance by a group of students.
Gold medals aren’t really made of gold. They’re made of sweat, determination and a hard- to find alloy called guts. The quote held true as our young sports children proudly marched towards the victory stand to accumulate their rewards of hard work.
Mr Anil Agarwal chairman of Mahadev textile pvt limited chaired the occasion by his presence.
The event culminated with the speech by Honourable Vice- Principal Mr Deshbandhu Dadich who updated the school about the mandatory inclusion of sports in school curriculum by C.B.S.E and how Witty has inculcated Physical Education as an integral part of its daily timetable. He capitalized the importance of overall development of child and balanced approach towards education.
