Navratri and Dussehra celebrated at WIS,Atun Road, Bhilwara (23.10.2020)





 








India is called a land of spiritual country. Every festival in India is celebrated in a unique way. The festival of Dussehra and Durga Puja symbolizes triumph of good over evil. Dusshera is also known as "Vijayadashmi". Hindu Community observes ten day ceremony of fast, and rituals to honour the victory of Lord Rama over the evil king Ravana.

Students of Witty International School, Bhilwara celebrated Dusshera and Navratri festival on Friday October 23, 2020 with great zeal and zest. Students of grade 3 to 10 came dressed up in colorful and traditional attires. The celebration started with a prayer of Goddess Durga. Students learned about the festivals from the PPTs and the videos shown to them. This time students rocked the floor with dandiya beats and garba dance on the virtual platform. A short video depicting the main events of Ramayana was also shown to the students. Students enjoyed the vibrant day with great enthusiasm and exuberance!
