SYNERGY, THE ANNUAL SPORTS MEET AT WIS, UDAIPUR
Witty International School Annual Sports meet brings
the entire school together to display their sporting abilities. Sports
professionals from India and overseas train the students so that they may
become outstanding sports. The day started with the flag hoisting in presence
of the school director, the school Principal, and all the teachers. Then the
tiny tots of Preschool enthusiastically walked in unison on the ground, waving
their hands. This was followed by the felicitation of the Chief Guest and
Welcome speech by the school Principal.
The Chief Guest, Mrs. Mala Sukhwal, International Power lifter who represented
India in New Zealand Commonwealth Games and Jim James, Nigerian International
Football Player inspected the parade. This was followed by the march past and
flag mounting. March past was concluded by the oath ceremony, where the
students vowed to participate in the sports with proper spirit. Sports Meet
included exciting events like parents - child race, Calisthenics, and finally,
the friendly Students-teachers football match. The highlight of the show was
the magnificent Sports Mime and the dance show on the famous patriotic song,
Vande Matram, where the young Witty skaters circumambulated the ground holding
the tricolor flags in hand. Both the events received standing ovation from the
audience. The entire event was highly appreciated by the audience which made it
a grand success.

Republic Day Celebrated at WIS, Bhilwara (26.01.2014)
"The strength of the constitution
lies entirely in the determination of each citizen to defend it. Only if every
single citizen feels duty bound to do his share in this defense are the
constitutional rights secure."
Braving
the chilly weather, intense cold and dense fog, Indians are soaked in the
spirit of patriotism as they celebrate the Republic Day with fervour today to
mark 64 years since the establishment of the Indian constitution.
We
took breathed as a republican on 26th January, 1950. To respect those great
leaders and with a promise to abide by Indian constitution, students celebrated
the Republic Day amid fog and cold weather with great pomp and patriotism.
After the proud moment of unfurling of national flag, students presented
speeches explaining the history and importance of this day. Students also
presented patriotic songs.

Wittians prepared House and Hut (Udaipur)
Students of Grade 1 were introduced to the chapter My
House and they learned about the different parts of a house. Children to learn
through hands on experience. Children learn best when the project is meaningful
to their lives, when a child can use their imagination to build the project, it
become even more meaningful to them. Students of Grade 1 were asked to prepare
a house or a hut. They made very creative and beautiful houses/huts made of
wedding card, straw, card board, broomsticks etc. They were excited to relate
the houses with their dream home.

Wittians showcased their debating skills (WIS, Udaipur)
Debating skills tapped out of Wittians.
The power of eloquence is an important skill to be
inculcated in Wittians to groom them to become aplomb personalities. Wittians
from Grade 5 to 10 honed up with their oratory skills for the final round of
English Debate Competition. They were judged on the basis of their command over
the languages, diction, modulation and pronunciation. The top most debaters of
the preliminary round qualified to the finals and competed with gusto. The
results are:
