Show and Tell Activity (Sr KG) on 13.01.2016, WIS, Bhilwara

Today  in WIS Bhilwara we organized show and tell activity of Space for our a little sparkling kids of Sr. KG. All kids brought different toys and objects with them and spoke few lines about the objects which we take to the space. Their words expressed their thought and dreams about space. They were so confident and excited when they come in front and spoke about their toys or objects. This activity also increased their knowledge about space.

Laurels brought by Wittians in NSTSE !!!

118 Wittians enthusiastically participated in the National Science Talent Search Examination-2016 Organized by Unified Council.

Priyal  Bolia (Gr. 1), Vidhan Doshi and Aryushaditya Agarwal( Gr.-3) have qualified for 2^nd level of NSTSE- 2016 to be held on 31^st January. 

Garv Porwal (Gr.1), Guntesh Singh(Gr.-IV) Riddhiman Choudhary (Gr.-5), Akul Chordia(Gr.-6),Tushar Bolia (Gr.-7),and Dhruv Sen (Gr.-8) are declared Class Topper.

Jayesh Soni (Gr-1), Malay Agarwal (Gr-1), Prasouk Jain (Gr-2), Kishan Kunch(Gr-4) and 

Gandharv Chippa(Gr-6) are selected as second ranker in their respective classes.

 Where as Aayushi Joshi(Gr-2), Akshat Shukla (Gr-4) and Bhavesh Malviya (Gr-6) are selected as Third ranker of their classes.

Lohri Celebrated at WIS, Bhilwara (13.01.15)

"If you tickle the earth with a hoe she laughs with a harvest"
Lohri is celebrated throughout the country in different forms, having various regional names as a harvest festival. It is called Pongal in the South, Bhugali Bihu in Assam, Bhogi in Andhra Pradesh and Sankranti in the central part of the country. Modes of celebrating Lohri are also different, but the message conveyed by the festival, that of setting aside differences and rejoicing by celebrating the end of the harvest season and the chilly winter is the same.

The festival of Lohri was celebrated at Witty International School, Bhilwara today with traditional fervour and gaiety. Students of Grade Second gave speech and explained the scientific reason for celebrating Lohri. The enthusiastic students performed ‘bhangra’ on the tunes of drum beats around the bon fire. Students sang melodious song and recited poems. Teachers with the motive that they will take initiatives for spreading love and peace presented “Giddha”.

At the end Principal conveyed wishes of Lohri to students and checked the knowledge of students with a short quiz based on the festival.  Traditional Prasad of revri and popcorns was distributed to everyone.

Dramatization of Fish Market (Nursery) on 12.01.2016, WIS, Bhilwara

The toddlers of Nursery WIS did the dramatization of Fish market with great zeal.Two children came in dressed up of fish merchants. The kids understood and learnt about the selling and buying of fish and they also purchased the fish with the help of fake money. Through this activity,toddlers could recognize fish market.

Introduction to Diamond Shape - Nursery [2015-2016]

I’m Danny Diamond

I have four sides.

Hey! Look look look,

I look like a kite.

But, I’m actually just a square,

Whose corners are pulled tight.

I love to shine so bright,

Like a star in the night.

Danny Diamond visited the little Wittians of the Nursery section on Wednesday morning, 6th January, 2016. When the children entered the classroom, it was beautifully decorated with Diamond shape cutouts.

The teachers introduced the Diamond shape with the help of a shape story and related shape objects. The little ones enjoyed colouring the worksheet of Mr. Diamond and sung the rhyme for him. The Children enjoyed making a diamond shape with the help of their fingers and sang the rhyme "Twinkle twinkle little star".

It was a very fascinating experience for the children to learn about the shape Diamond in different ways.

Field Trip to California Pizza Kitchen Sr.KG Section of Witty kids n Witty World [2015-16]

                                               FIELD TRIP TO CALIFORNIA PIZZA KITCHEN

Field trip is a welcome break giving students educational experiences away from their regular school environment. A field trip can awaken the desire in a child to try new things. 

 On Saturday, January 9th, 2016 students of Witty Kids and Witty World of Sr. KG section were taken for a field trip to California Pizza Kitchen.

Students and teachers were welcomed by the sweet aroma of fresh oven-baked pizzas. The massive oven where the pizzas are baked fascinated the children.
 

Inside the CPK students viewed the various stages of production, such as mixing, kneading, moulding and packaging the final product.

It was an interesting, enriching and informative field trip.

Children of the Nursery class at Witty Kids were introduced to Mr. Diamond on Wednesday, 6 January 2016.Classroom was pre decorated with Diamond shaped objects. Teacher narrated the story of Diamond shape with the help of videos. Children coloured within Mr. Diamond with their favorite colour. They sang a Rhyme for Mr. Diamond
