FATHER’S DAY CELEBRATION – PRIMARY SECTION

Father is a person who;
Let’s you experiment life in your own way and pulls you up when you fall.
Let’s you get angry on him and loves you more after that.
Let’s you see things your own way and then gives his view point.
Is with you always, especially when you need…

Father’s Day is a day of appreciation for what fathers do in their children’s lives. Fathers often go unrecognized and so this day was a perfect time for our Grade V Wittians to show how much they care and respect the way their fathers have stepped into the role of being active co-parent.

This day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm by Grade V students of Witty International School, Pawan Baug. Various ways were adopted by students to appreciate their fathers and make them feel special. The event took flight by a welcome speech and a welcome dance. Students gracefully performed to welcome their group of Witty fathers. To proceed with this event, students were expected to choose any one of the following categories like Whistle your tune, Once upon a Poem, Mimicry, Sharing the most memorable moment, Match your steps with ‘Pa’ on the ramp and Showcase your talent.

All of us were amazed to see the team of father and a child sharing the stage together. The hearts of the Wittians were filled with love which was reflecting on through their smiles. Students were excited to see their fathers along with them as they are generally accompanied by mothers in school for various things. Various games which made the event more interesting were enjoyed by the pair of a father and the child.

The day ended well with smiles on father’s faces while being felicitated by students and vote of thanks saluting all the wonderful fathers appreciating them for dedicating some time out of their busy schedule.

           On 23 ^rd & 24^th June,2016 Nursery & Play group section celebrated "Fun With Daddy Day" in Witty World. Little Wittians  with their  daddies came to school to enjoy their daily school routine.  Daddies  played games with the parachute, enjoyed a session of  music and movement , played games in the  soft gym and had fun with story time.

         Precious memories were created and carried  in a 'Treasure chest' made by daddy and child!!!

Fun with Daddy day was celebrated on 21^st and  22^nd June 2016, for the Junior and Senior KG students of Witty World. It was a nostalgic day for all the fathers at Witty World, as they re-lived their childhood memories with their little ones, while celebrating Father’s day. Fathers were given a unique, once in a lifetime opportunity to be an active participant in their child’s classroom routine Fun games, parachute play, music and movement, and a unique activity in the form of alpha yoga, gave enough opportunities  for this special pair to make some wonderful memories together. These memories were also captured through an art activity that will surely be a precious treasure for the fathers to keep. The day could not have been more fulfilling , especially as a large part of it was spent with daddy dearest!

Celebration of Red Day at Witty World - Nursery Section, 2016

on this lovely day.

Children of nursery class at Witty World came dressed in red coloured clothes to celebrate Red Day.The class was decorated with different red colour objects. Children brought red colour eatables like pomegranates, apples, jam sandwich and they  also discussed the red colour snacks brought by them in their tiffins.

Little wittians were introduced to the colour Red,  through  the story of Little Red Riding Hood, concrete objects, and rhymes.

A fun way of learning indeed!!

Celebration of Red Day by Nursery Section at WIS, Malad (2016-2017)

The little Wittians of Nursery section celebrated ‘Red Day’ on Wednesday, 22^nd June 2016. Teachers  introduced  Red  colour  by  narrating  a  story of “Red Riding Hood” and  showing  different  red coloured  objects that  were  placed  in  the  class. They also encouraged children to sing rhymes on red colour.

Being dressed in red attire and carrying red coloured snacks in their tiffins, the tiny tots learnt the concept of Red in an enjoyable way. It was indeed a fun-filled ‘Red Day’ in the Nursery classes.

Celebration of International Yoga Day at WIS, Malad (2016-2017)

“Yoga is the perfect opportunity to be curious about who you are”

Little Wittians of Pre – Primary section at Witty Kids celebrated ‘International Yoga Day’ on Tuesday, 21 June 2016. Children enjoyed simple warm-up exercises and asanas in an attempt to bring about a healthy union of body, spirit and mind by practicing kid-friendly yoga. It was indeed an energetic, refreshing and relaxing day for teachers as well as our little Wittians.
