Friendship day celebrated at WIS,Bhilwara (03.08.16)

Friendship is the most important bond we all can have in life. Whether it is family, or strangers, having a friend brings a good amount of energy to our world. In celebration of life and friendship, WIS Bhilwara organized a special assembly today.  Students of grade VII threw light on the importance and history of friendship day. Students presented a harmonious song based on the friendship of Lord Krishna and Sudama. Some numbers based on friendship were also sung by them. Winni-the Pooh had sent his messenger to give his message to the Wittians. He said that be friendly not only to classmates or peer group but also to nature and animals. Later in the school friendship band making competition was also held, where students enthusiastically participated. The bands made by the students were appreciable.

Witty in Yellow Fragrance

 Every color has a passion, impact on life and a fragrance that it adds to our lives.

Exploring the color Yellow, the Wittians of WIS, Udaipur learnt about it. The classes were adorned in yellow color, both the students and teachers came dressed in yellow color. They enjoyed looking through yellow sun glasses. They learned more about the color through a slide show where they were shown Yankee the Yellow Duck Story. Children enjoyed exploring the beautiful yellow color. 

Orange Colour Day Celebrated by Jr.Kg. students (02.08.16)

Little  wittians of JR. KG class celebrated “ORANGE DAY”  on  Monday,2 August,2016. All the teachers as well as the students came dressed in orange colour attire and the classroom was decorated with orange coloured objects. Teacher introduced orange colour by way of sponge dabbing in scrapbook, children made flower and stem in scrap book. Children enjoyed celebrating  “orange colour day” with their friends.

Blue colour day celebrated by Jr.Kg. (04.08.16)

The toddlers of Jr.Kg. at WIS , Bhilwara celebrated blue colour day on Thursday,4^th August 2016. With a lot of exciting activities . the entire classroom was decorated with blue color objects. The tiny tots and their teachers came to school in blue coloured clothes and brought their favourite blue coloured objects such as ball, bottle, car, balloon etc. The kids watched the story of blue colour.

Unity In Diversity

·      “India is a country in which every religion finds a home”. People from different religions, cultures live amicably in India. They celebrated different festivals and wear different types of clothes, with the motive to make the young Wittians aware of different types of cultures and dresses they wear, WIS organized an activity based on the theme – “Clothes we wear”, wherein students of Grade -II learnt about the types of clothes worn in different regions, the festivals celebrated and were also given information about the food habits of those regions! The activity was not only fun – filled but was an enriching experience for the Wittians!!

Wiittians Go Junky Today!

We all love to be refreshed from our mundane life, then, how can kids be for behind, as the Wittians  of Jr. KG are learning about the concept of Community Helpers, the next come in the line is the Bakers , Today, the students of Jr. KG learnt about the process of making Pizzas. The Tiny fingers spread the Pizza sauce, Cheese and Vegetables on the Pizza Base. They learnt about the ingredients used & enjoyed its baking. 

Children relished eating it. 

Chocolate Making at WIS, Udaipur

I once heard a young man sing

That chocolate is a wonderful thing

On toast or in jam

With spinach or ham.

It’s a feast that is fit for a king. 

Children of Sr.KG enjoyed making desiccated Coconut Chocolate Balls with the help of Chocolate Powder, desiccated Coconut Powder and Milkmaid. Kids enjoyed mixing all the ingredients together and making balls out of it. 

Karate Camp for Jr KG Section at WIS, Malad (2016-17)

Karate is an ancient martial art built around self-defence that originates from Japan and China. It has become extremely popular worldwide, and has many variations.  A one month Karate camp was conducted from Friday, 1 July 2016 to Tuesday, 2 August 2016, for our Jr.KG children, by instructor , ‘ Sensei’ Umang and ‘Sensei’ Nitish from ALL INDIA SHOTOKAN KARATE DO-FEDERATION.  Children learnt different karate styles and moves such as Middle block, Upper rising block, Downward block, Front kick, Side kick and many other styles.

It was indeed a learning experience for the little Wittians!!
