Teacher's Day Celebration at WIS, Udaipur
“If you have knowledge, let others
light their candles at it.”
The Teachers Day Celebration was a
testimony of this belief as the Wittians enthusiastically acknowledge the
contribution of their teachers. The day started with giving a tribute to
Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishna.
This day witnessed a plethora of
cultural programmes put up by the students of Grade 9 to 12. The Teachers were
overwhelmed on seeing the performances by the students. The Principal
Mrs.Shubha Govil congratulated the teachers on the eve of the Teacher’s Day.
Field Trip To An Automobile Workshop (03.09.16)
School field trips give
students more opportunities for “hands-on learning.” When students go on field
trips, they are taught by more people than their regular teachers. They are
brought out into the community to interact with experts in their fields. Visiting an automobile workshop
(Mahindra) focused on basic working of engines and vehicles. Students of grade
V got answers of many queries like purpose of braking system, steering system
and fuel supply. They enjoyed guessing names of vehicles of Mahindra Company
and various features of these were explained to them.
Overall the trip brought
children out of their routines and gives them the opportunity for meaningful
educational experiences.
Thanks to all the members of Mahindra workshop for their kind cooperation.

Vinayak Chaturthi Celebration at WIS….
Wittians today fervently celebrated
Ganesh Chaturthi in honour of the God of wisdom and prosperity Lord Ganesha.
Lord Ganesha is worshipped in the
beginning of every auspicious work so that it is successfully completed without
any obstacle.
The celebration began with the
lighting of lamp by the Principal Mrs. Shubha Govil, followed by the
information shared by the little scholars of Grade-II on this propitious day. Then
after an episode from mythological stories, in which Lord Ganesha revolves
around his parents to show that the parents in themselves are the universe for
their children was meaningfully dramatised, followed by a mellifluous rendition
and a rhythmatically choreographed dance number.
Not only the students but the
teachers and the parents appreciated and praised the level of confidence and
the way of presentation by the young Wittians!!
Teachers' Day Activity, Primary Section WIS Pawan Baug
“Teachers are the torch bearers of the
Gen-Next”
Teachers
play a major role in influencing and moulding a child's life as children in
their formative and impressionable years spend a lot of time at school.
Whatever children learn at this time stays with them all their lives.
The
celebration of this day took roots in Witty International School, Pawan Baug
with great pomp and enthusiasm on 2nd September 2016. This day marked variety
of emotions when our little Wittians made badges and flowers for their
teachers. The creativity they displayed was commendable as they poured out all
the ideas flowing into their minds.
Students
across all grades ensured that their teachers felt special on this day. Wittians
expressed their gratitude and love, to see their teachers beaming with glee on
reading the cute and straight from the heart messages.

Ganeshas’ birthday with lots of vigour and enthusiasm. Children immersed both POP and clay
idols of ‘Ganeshas’ to understand the harmful effects of non-eco-friendly
idols. This celebration will help our little Wittians understand how to take
care of our environment.

activities. The excitement of the day will definitely spill over to the week of
festivities coming up.
