Water Play activity by Jr. KG and Sr. KG Section (2019-20), Witty World, Bangur Nagar

Splish splash,

It’s a water play!

Come get soaked,

We’ll swim and play.

Bring your suit and towel,

We’ll take care of the rest.

This water play will be the best.

At Witty World we believe in experiential learning in different ways. What could be better than Water Play. Water Play serves as a catalyst to enhance a number of developmental areas like physical and social skills. So children of Junior KG and Senior KG of Witty World, Bangur Nagar were taken for Water Play on 4^th March, 2020 in our In-House splash pool. Children enjoyed splashing water, hearing the sound of splashes. As children played, they were excited to communicate their discoveries to everyone around them. It was indeed a fun-filled day with lots of communication skills and social growth during water play!!!  It was a fun filled time for the children.

Introduction of Marine animal by Nursery Section at Witty World, Udaipur

“The arms on the octopus number eight,

One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight!

All curled up, then pointing straight,

One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight!

In the ocean octopus wait,

One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight!

For clams and crabs to put on their plate!

One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight! ”

On Tuesday, 03 March 2020, Children of Nursery were introduced to the marine animal - ‘Octopus’. The kids learnt that an Octopus has 8 arms all of equal length called tentacles which are very strong and have suckers on them. It is one of the most intelligent marine animal. If it is scared then it releases a cloud of black ink from its body. This gives it some time to escape.

Teachers demonstrated this act in front of children which made it more exciting. Children also made octopus with paper plates.

Overall it was an informative and a fun day for our tiny tots.

Field Trip: A Visit to Supermarket by Nursery Section at Witty Kids, Pawan Baug (2019-20)

I am with my Grandpa at the grocery store, grabbing everything on his list: brown gravy and whole-grain bread, grapes and peppers, green and red. A supermarket is a large grocery store, where one can find wide variety of food, household products, electronics and many more items all under one roof. Children were taken to supermarket to give them hands-on experience about the concept of Fruits and Vegetables. On 27th February, 2020, Thursday Nursery section went on field trip to Big Bazaar Supermarket. There the children were taken through different sections of the store and they discussed about the things they saw. Teachers discussed about the importance of supermarkets and grocery workers. Children shared their experiences about going for shopping with their parents. It was indeed a fun learning experience for the little ones!
