International Yoga Day by Jr. KG and Sr. KG Section, Witty World, Goregaon East


 ‘‘International Yoga day’’

Yoga helps to improve memory and cognitive function by creating focus within.

Our little Wittians actively participated and learnt the techniques to stay in good health and stay relaxed through Yoga on International Yoga Day.

Yoga is an ancient activity and discipline related to achieving physical, mental & spiritual health. It involves various postures, breathing patterns, chants & meditation

We, Witty International School, Malad West, virtually celebrated International Yoga day 2021 with an aim of making Yoga a daily part of our lives, relax our mind and soul, reduce stress amid the ongoing circumstances & live a healthier life

International Yoga Day celebration at WIS, Udaipur




"Yoga is the golden key that unlocks the door to peace, tranquillity and joy."

Witty International School, Udaipur celebrated Online International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2021. Students of Grade I to Xll CBSE and CAIE participated with great enthusiasm and gusto. This was a great opportunity to imbibe the values of discipline. All the students participated in a mass yoga session with the teachers and practised different Yoga postures. They did several Aasanas and Prayanams under the guidance of the Yoga Instructor. Students got the chance to know how Yoga embodies unity of mind and body.

Arpan - Matru Pitru Pujan, Primary Section (IGCSE), WIS PB(2021-22)


Arpan – Matru Pitru Pujan

One of the greatest titles in the world is ‘parent’ and one of the biggest blessings in the world is to have parents to call “Mom” and “Dad”.

Yet another year of pandemic and lockdown, nevertheless the spirit of Witty International School, PB, Primary Section remains stronger as ever. To honour the unconditional love, care and companionship and pay tribute to their selfless love, our children celebrated this moment by celebrating ‘Arpan – Matru Pitru Pujan’ on Saturday, 12th June 2021.

The students seized this opportunity to showcase their talent virtually and presented a scintillating cultural programme comprising of power packed moral value skits, religious versus which included the importance of parents and grandparents followed by dances which left the spectators spellbound and thoroughly mesmerized. As a part of this auspicious event, children also presented a token of love and appreciation for their parents and grandparents.

This day enabled our children to understand the importance of elders in their life. All in all, it was really a strong beginning of the new academic year for our Wittians.

Arpan - Matru Pitru Pujan at WISPB (ICSE) (2021-22)



 

‘’Parental love is the only love that is truly selfless, unconditional, and forgiving.’’

 

Arpan – Matru Pitru Pujan, is the celebration of the bond between parents and children. This Day is all about strengthening family bonds and being grateful to our parents for everything they do for us selflessly giving us an example of true and pure love.

 

We, the family of Witty International School celebrated Arpan -Matru Pitru Pujan Divas with full enthusiasm. The idea was to spark the importance of cultural values and ethos, our Indian heritage holds in Indian children. Dr. Vinay Jain, the Founder of Witty Group of Institutions, always believes that the values we instill in our children, will be the foundation upon which they will build their future.

 

This ceremony was celebrated virtually where beautiful rituals were performed by the children for their parents followed by dancing, singing that added colour to the day.

Maharashtra Day Celebration, Primary & Secondary Section, ICSE (2020-21), WIS, PB


Remember the history Keep faith & stay, Here's wishing you all Happy Maharashtra Day.

If it becomes a stone, it will become “Sahyadri"! If it becomes soil, it will become “Maharashtra"!

 

Today, 1st May marks the Maharashtra Day and the importance of this day is not hidden.   We celebrate it in the memories of those who were martyred and to how Mumbai became a part of Maharashtra. 

The students sang and danced on the Melodies of celebrations. Importance of Maharashtra day was explained by the teachers and the students. 

 

In the end, the programme was wrapped up by paying a small tribute to the Mumbai police and the front line workers for the pandemic.
