Dress Me up as Marine Creature by Playgroup Section at WIS, Malad (2016-2017)

On Thursday, October 20^th, 2016, Fancy Dress on Marine animals was organised for the playgroup section. The classroom was decorated with posters of different marine life. The children came beautifully dressed as different marine creatures. The teachers motivated students to speak few words about the marine animals they were dressed up as. Children later enjoyed doing the worksheet. 

Indeed, fancy dress was a creative learning experience for the little tots.

Fancy Dress Activity Of Playgroup Kids At WIS,Bhilwara (19.10.16)

The little ones of Playgroup of WIS Bhilwara enjoyed the fancy dress activity on Wednesday, October 19,2016. The class room was decorated as an ocean with blue colour. The tiny tots came as marine animals such as Fish, Starfish, Shark, Octopus, Jelly fish. The kids danced on the tunes of a beach song. They also spoke about the underwater animals. Through this activity, little angels could recognize marine -animals.  

Introduction to Hexagon Shape by Nursery section at WIS, MALAD (2016-2017)

Children at Witty Kids Nursery section celebrated 'Hexagon Day' on Wednesday, 19 October 2016. Teacher decorated the class with Hexagon shaped objects and she also narrated the story of Hexagon shape with the help of the flashcards. Children were shown different objects of Hexagon shape. To enhance children's creative skills, children also did a worksheet. Later, they made Hexagon shape in the air with their fingers and they also sang the Rhyme of Hexagon shape!

Children were amazed to see and learn a new shape!

Children of Playgroup did a recap of marine animals with the help of show and tell activity. The class was decorated with the theme of ocean life including lots of fishes and sea creatures. They enjoyed discussing about the marine life and animals. They spoke about the color, features etc. of the marine animal brought by them.

Poem Enactment "Three Little Kittens" by Nursery Section at WIS, Malad (2016-2017)

Three little kittens, they lost their mittens

And they began to cry

"Oh, mother dear, We sadly fear our mittens we have lost".

"What! Lost your mittens, you naughty kittens!

Then you shall have no pie"

Nursery rhymes can be sung, recited, mimicked, and enacted. 

Children in the nursery class at Witty Kids participated in the rhyme enactment of "Three Little Kittens" on Tuesday, 18^th October 2016. The excitement of dressing and the joy of re-discovering the poem through actions was evident throughout the class!!

The tiny tots of Nursery enjoyed Muffin Day on Monday, October 17,2016. The kids brought muffins in their lunch box. They ate muffins in lunch. Through this, they learnt Mm says muffin

World Dictionary Day observed at WIS,Bhilwara (15.10.16)

Words - so innocent and powerless as they are, as standing in a dictionary, how potent for good and evil they become in the hands of one who knows how to combine them.

Students of Grade I presented a special assembly observing the birthday of “Father of Modern English Dictionary” on Saturday, October 15, 2016. Students told about the history behind dictionary day’s existence. Then they told about the significance of dictionary in our daily life. At last they played a game including teachers to pronounce some newly added words to the dictionary all participated enthusiastically in this game.
