Miles to Go!

Witty International School in association with Mohan Azad’s workshop gave a platform for Witty Students to make a short film “Miles to Go”. The motive dealt with the burning issue of young students committing suicide as they are unable to cope with the pressure and the fear of not living upto the expectation of the society.

On 7th March 2010 a special screening of the film Miles to Go was done in Kasturba Talkies, Malad. Several dignitaries from the film industry graced the occasion. Dr. Vinay Jain gave a very motivating and enlightening speech.

Through this short film, our students took keen interest in throwing light on the hapless plight “Teen Suicide” and have helped creating awareness among the people.

The film making helped students become aware of community, family and self. It created connections between curriculum and the world outside the classroom. Students learnt about making of film, script writing, directing, editing, production, storytelling, cinematography & dramatic skills.

An appeal to watch the film was made to one and all. The strong message sent out through the film made a great impact on every mind.
