Grade III - Field Trip
Nehru Planetarium
A day with celestial objects, stars and galaxies brought
about smiles among the students of Grade III who visited the Nehru Planetarium
as part of their field trip on the 24th of July 2010. Students were given detailed information that
encompassed facts on the evolution of stars, formation of various
constellations, zodiac signs, black holes and the death of a star. The Sky
Watch was particularly appreciated. A small segment on planets was also
showcased. The students were quite reluctant to return to school after an out
of the world experience at the planetarium.
