Poetry Recitation- Nursery
Rhymes play an important role in
early childhood. For instance, when a newborn baby does not sleep or cry, the
mother sings a lullaby to make him calm and quiet. Rhymes are pleasant to hear
hence they have a soothing effect on children.
The children of Nursery
had Poetry Recitation on 21st October 2011. All the children had memorised
their favorite poems to recite in front of their friends. While doing so, the
children learnt to be confident and overcome their stagefear. It was
challenging but an exciting experience for them.
