Basant
Panchami festival was celebrated by the Pre-Primary section on Friday, 27th January
2012. Children came dressed in Yellow and Orange color clothes looking pretty
and bright.Basant Panchami marks the beginning of Spring season and farewell to
Winter.Teachers discussed the importance of this festival by showing slides and
singing songs.The festival of Spring was celebrated with full vivacity and joy
amongst teachers and children. This celebration is dedicated to Goddess
Saraswati, the Goddess of wisdom.
Children
did related activities of making a Sun mask and headgear.
