Having colour theme days is a great way to reinforce the concept of colours to children.Red has more personal associations than any other colour. Red is inherently exciting and the amount of red is directly related to the level of energy perceived. Red colour can immediately focus attention on a particular element.

WIS Nursery section celebrated Red Day on 21st June, 2012 wherein all children wore red colour clothes and the teacher decorated the class with red colour objects. Children brought red colour eatables in their tiffin such as plums, cherries, etc.Children enjoyed listening to a story on the colour 'Red'.
