Independence Day is a day when we pay homage to our great
National leaders and heroic freedom fighters who made many sacrifices and gave
India freedom.
To celebrate the 66th Anniversary of our freedom
the little children of WIS came dressed in vibrant colours of the Indian Flag.
All the Pre Primary children participated in the celebration in some or the
other way. They enjoyed dancing on different patriotic songs with tri coloured
ribbons in their hands.
They also enjoyed eating tri coloured sandwiches during
their tiffin time. They were also told that what is Independence and how India
got its freedom.
Overall, the children enjoyed the celebration and gained
knowledge from it.
