SENSETUITION
Have you ever thought how would we see the
beautiful creations around us, smell the various fragrances, hear the musical
notes/ various sounds, taste the delicious cuisines and experience the feel of
touch if we did not have all our senses??
We at WIS held our first inhouse event of the year 2012-2013 - "Sensetuition" on Saturday, 25th August, 2012. The pre-primary parents along with their children were invited for the event section-wise. Each classroom was dedicated to one sense where various objects relating to the sense were displayed, games were played and takeaway activities were made by the children. The most enjoyable part of the event was the movie time where the kids were shown a clipping related to the various senses from the movie Ice Age, and on their exit, were given popcorn which was made in front of them, to enhance their senses further, which also served as a treat for them.
Thus, following our tradition of imparting practical knowledge, our children were exposed to the World of the 5 Senses in a fun and creative way.
