Diwali a day of joy & lights and Birthday of Chacha
Nehru was celebrated in WIS on 9th November, 2012. The School was
decorated with traditional Rangoli colours, flowers and Diyas. To celebrate the
occasions, the Pre Primary children came dressed in colourful outfits. A Dance
party was organized for the little children who enjoyed dancing on various
numbers. They got sweets & their favourite snacks & enjoyed having it
together.
Class activities like Drawing, Painting on Diyas were also
organized for the little children which added smile on their faces. They were
also briefed that what is Diwali & Children’s Day & why do we celebrate
it. They were told what are the safety measures that should be taken while we
fire crackers.
Altogether, they had a great time enjoying themselves and
wishing each other a very Happy Diwali & Happy Children’s Day.
