It is a well known fact that concepts learnt through experiences have a better retention than the concepts told to the students or delivered to them with the help of pictures or toys. Children get the idea of the size and shape by seeing the real objects. A visit to a car showroom aimed at showing them the means of land transport. Children could very well relate the acquired knowledge to the other means of transport. We are thankful to the staff of the Showroom without whose cooperation the visit could not have been so successful. Children felt honoured when they were given snacks by the staff of the Showroom.
