Wittians
witnessed the 1st Stone Monumental Sculpture Symposium held at
Shilpgram. The sculptors from around the world and India presented their art
which they created in a month long workshop. All the sculptures presented were
in abstract from and beautifully portrayed the imagination and feelings of the
sculptors.
The
students were able to interact with few of the sculptors. They also learnt
about balancing, texture and form of the sculptures. Students were also able to
recognise the form of the art presented and this exhibition motivated them to
take sculpture as a form of expression.
