Van Mahotsav, WIS Bhilwara

"Ped lagao, Ped lagao, Apna jeevan swasth banao.
Ghar upwan mein ped lagao, Vaayu Pradusan ko dur bhagao.
Yeh dete hume fal aur phool, Inhein lagana nahi hai bhool.
Inhin se milti humein hawa, Inhin se milti humein dawa.
Ped lagao, Ped lagao, Apna jeevan swasth banao."

Van Mahotsav is an annual tree planting festival in India, celebrated in the first week of July. This movement was initiated in the year 1950 by India's Union Minister for Agriculture, Kulapati Dr. K. M. Munshi. This festival has gained immense national importance and every year, millions of saplings are planted all across India in observation of the Van Mahotsav week. Keeping the wonderful idea of Van Mahotsav in mind, Students of grades I to VII planted saplings in the school. Grade VII presented a special assembly for Van Mahotsav, where student recited wonderful poems about trees. All the students were motivated to plant at least one tree to make the environment green and clean. Van Mahotsav celebrates by Grade I to Grade VII.
