The chaste bond of love between a
brother and a sister is one of the deepest and noblest of human emotions. This
ritual not only strengthens the bond of love between brothers and sisters but
also confines the family. This thread which pulsates with sisterly love and
sublime sentiments is rightly called Rakhi. It means the bond of love and
protection and Rakshabandhan signifies that the strong must protect the weak
from all that's evil.
Keeping all these thoughts in mind,
students of Witty International School celebrated this auspicious occasion. A
skit based on loving relationship of brother and sister filled the atmosphere
with festive feeling. Everyone tip tapped and clapped on the rhythm of the
wonderful dance performance on “Phulon ka taaron ka sabka kehna hai.”After that
sister’s tied rakhis on their brother’s wrist and brothers promised to take
care of their sisters forever.
