August 13 is
designated as International Left Hander's Day, It is meant to promote awareness
of the inconveniences faced by left-handers in a predominantly right -handed
world.
Today in our school
a special assembly was held to celebrate this day. Students were told myths and
superstitious about Left -Handed people Mrs. Sulochna Tiwari (Hindi teacher),
who is left handed was interviewed, to share some practical problems she faced
for being left - handed. Students were told about the major benefits availed by
lefties.
