Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration 09.09.2013, WIS Bhilwara


"Aadi Puja Deva Gajanana, Gaurihara Tanaya Subhaanana Vighna Vinashaka Sidhi Vinayak Jaya Vandana Thava Charanam" 

It is believed that Lord Ganesh bestows his presence on earth for all his devotees during this festival. It is the day Shiva declared his son Ganesh as superior of all the gods Ganesh widely worshiped as the god of wisdom, prosperity, good fortune and beginning of any new venture or at the start of travel. Ganesh Chaturthi usually falls between 19 August to 20 September.This festival lasts for ten days, ending on Anant Chaturdashi (fourteen days of the working moon period). So, with the religious feeling the students performed various programmes like- Ganesh vandana, shlok, bhajan with great enthusiasm.
