Witty International School hosted WWF State Level quiz
contest. Thirty teams that were shortlisted at School Level participated from
the entire state of Rajasthan including prominent cities like Ajmer, Jaisalmer, Jaipur, Dholpur, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Jodhpur, Bharatpur,
Sriganganagar and Dungarpur etc. The top
five top scorers from the preliminary round played the exciting audio/ visual
quiz. The Study Senior Secondary school of Udaipur won the quiz competition. Maharana Mewar
Public School (Udaipur) and Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Vidhyalaya secured the
second and the third position respectively. The winner team will now represent
the State at National Level.
Today’s event contributes towards fulfilling the mission and vision of
WIS because quality education also includes educating ourselves and others
about how we are responsible towards our nature. Nature is our stewardship. We
should respect it, because we depend on it. Principle of love can also be
applied while dealing with nature. We hope that hosting this quiz will lead
towards creating wonderful synergy between WIS and WWF Udaipur division, and
shall inspire us and other educational systems to serve the humanity by serving
mother earth.
