Sense Booth was organized for the
children of Nursery and Junior K.G. Classrooms were set up for the 5 senses,
various setups like Day and Night, bowling alley, colourful objects, textured
path, different textured materials etc were displayed for the sense of sight
and touch respectively.
Children enjoyed listening to
different sounds and recognizing them. They also enjoyed playing various
musical instruments like Congo, Xylophone, and Tambourine etc. The young
Wittians also tasted different food items to understand the concept of sweet,
sour, bitter, salty taste.
Children differentiated between foul
smell and good smell by smelling items like volini, vicks, deodorants and
flowers. In the end, the concept of 5 senses was well understood by children.
