"World Computer Literacy Day" celebrated at WIS Bhilwara (02.12.2011)

The fusion of automatic calculation with programmability was the first recognizable computers made by Charles Babbage in 1837. It is almost impossible to think about today's world without computers. Computer literacy is the knowledge and the ability to use the computer technology efficiently in daily life. Incorporating computer education in schools can inspire students to undertake careers in technology and enhance their understanding in computer related softwares. Keeping this in mind, students from Grade I to IV celebrated "World Computer Literacy Day" in school. They were informed about the history of this day and uses of computer in every aspect of life. A small quiz was organized in assembly to recall their knowledge in computers.
