Charles John Huffam Dickens was born on 7th February 1812 at a
house in Mile End Terrace, Portsmouth, Hampshire. He was driven to achieve
success from the days of his boyhood. With little worked furiously at
everything he undertook and rocketed to fame as a writer in his mid twenties.
He continued to work assiduously to the end of his life.
On the occasion of Charles Dickens Birthday, students remembered
this great writer and shared their knowledge about Charles Dickens in terms of
his achievements, marriage, travelling, rail accident and his death.
Charles Dickens was best known for his classic writing. So, few
students of Grade V recited a poem called 'A child's hymn' in his memory.
