Picnics
provide students with the much needed leisure and they get temporary relief
from their studies after which they feel refreshed. Witty International School
chose Suraj Water Park as the picnic destination for Grades 5 and 6.
The journey
began at around 9:00 a.m. on a pleasant Saturday morning of 1st
March 2014. The students reached the venue at 10.30 a.m. and headed straight
for a light breakfast after which they took to the different water rides. The
enthusiasm was immense and noticeable on each and every student’s face. Each
ride had it own uniqueness and lead to the utmost enjoyment. The rides posed an
adrenaline rush that set the wheel of enthusiasm spinning all the way. Each and
every student had made the best use of time and togetherness apart from the
regular academics.
After a good
three hours of play and rides a sumptuous lunch was served on the house which
all students had to their fill. Thereafter the students relaxed for a while and
then it was the time to return. It was a calm and satisfying journey back where
all students and teachers alike had a joyous and peaceful experience. All in
all it was a soothing and refreshing experience.
