"Earth does not belong to us; we belong to Earth"
WIS celebrated the sacred Earth Day today. The students of Grade
four presented very interesting speech and poetry on this occasion. All of us
were forced to think that it is imperative for us to become more responsible
towards our mother nature. Then the students shared different inspiring slogans
with the assembly. The program was
concluded by the interesting speech given by the Principal. She explained the 4
R’s – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Recover. Her speech pleaded that we should rather
turn our attention towards nature and appreciate it’s beauty, before it’s too
late.
Students were given the Medals and the Certificates of 4th
International English Olympiad conducted by SOF in the Special Assembly.
