heme area is
a part of the class-room, wherein every month’s theme is exhibited related
to the particular topic (theme) theme of the month, so as to enable
the children to relate to the theme. It is also an extension to the curriculum.
The theme
for the month of June 2014 is “Seasons”. The theme wall was painted
with Water Cycle concept picture. As part of the recap session
children were taken to the theme area and they were refreshed about the
water cycle concept. During the theme area session children were able to
correlate the concept which they learnt in class and they also entered
into an informal discussion on the same with their classmates.
