Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebrated at WIS,Bhilwara(25.07.14)

In the memory of the gallant soldiers who gave up their lives to capture Kargil, Students of W.I.S celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas.

Students came in soldiers’ dress and presented the history of Kargil war in a poem form.

Aao aao suno kahani. Na hai raja, Na hai rani,

Veero ke balidano ki, Amar kahani hai ye purani.

Aaya 1999, Tha May mahina,

Padosi desho k humlo ne, Sara sukh tha china,

Akhir kya chahte the vo, Kya thi asi baat,

Humle par humle kiye, Na dekha din, Na hi raat.

Fir jub chaal samajh mein aai, Aur samajh mein aaya raaj,

Chahte the Kashmir chinna,  Jo hai Bharat ka sartaaj.

Bharat ne ran’neeti banai, Dushman ne fir muh ki khai,

Jub Operation Vijay chalaya, Ghuspethiyo ko maar bhagaya.

Do mahine tak chali ladai, Kai veero ne jaan gawai,

Par Bharat par aanch na aai, Dushman ko thi dhul chatai.

26 July ka swarnim din, Fir se aaj hai aaya,

Dekar veero ne kurbaani, Vijay pataka fahraya.

Aao hum bhi miljulkar, Kargil Diwas manaye,

Veer shahido ki yaado mein, Aao thoda waqt bitaye.

Unke sahas aur shaurya ka, Gungaan chalo hum gaaye,

Na bhule unk balidaano ko, Shat- Shat sheesh jhukaye.

This poem was followed by a patriotic song sung by the students. The atmosphere was filled with true spirit of patriotism. Every student was looking like a little soldier who is ready to serve the nation.
