People
create out for a variety of reasons including personal expression, public
exhibition etc.,but children draw to find a hidden ability and develop their special
talent. Therefore students of Grade I to II had Look and Draw competition and
students of Grade III to VII had Drawing competition in the school. The aim
behind this competition was to raise the student’s attention about the close
relationship between the given topic and its surroundings.
Students showed their creativity and
independence of expression through their drawings. They used their memory to
recall what they know about the given topics such as – landscape, historical
monuments ,pattern designs etc. This competition helped them to develop their
skills using imagination and new methods because each child‘s art is unique and
follows a universal pattern of development.
