A field trip to Oriental Bank of
Commerce, Mithi
Chowk Branch, Malad (W) was organised on 1st August, 2014 for Grade
– II students.
The
field trip enabled the students to understand the functioning and the use of
technology in banks giving them practical knowledge.
Students
were shown various sections of the bank such as the cash counter, locker room,
ATM and administrative department. They were also briefed on the importance of
debit and credit cards. Curiosities of the students were answered by the staff
members, who enjoyed conversing at their level.
The trip provided the students with a wonderful learning opportunity and
was immensely enjoyed by them.
At the time of departure the staff distributed Frooti and Cadbury
chocolates to the students.
Teachers thanked the staff and the management for their assistance and
co-operation. It was an educative and
informative field trip.
