Oh! I wonder where are these sounds coming from?
Yes, it’s our little Wittians of Playgroup class who have come
dressed as different characters for their first Inhouse event.
WIS had organised a ‘Fancy Dress’ for our little Wittians of
Playgroup class on Saturday, 23 August 2014 at Witty World, Goregaon.
Fancy dress is an art of wearing an amusing or unusual costume as
a part of a theme. Such extracurricular activities help to grow the imagination
of a child’s mind. We at WIS have a fine share of extracurricular activities
with our academic curriculum. Such contests stir the spirit of children
and open up their minds.
The program drew a lot of excitement and laughter amongst all. It
was really amazing to see kids dressed up according to the themes. The Fancy
Dress was based on the theme “Think Big … Nothing is Impossible” Wide range of
topics were given to the parents such as, Birds, Pet animals and Farm animals.
Parents had to choose the apt character for his / her child along with the hand
made costumes for the themes that added more gloss to the programme. The
efforts taken by the parents and the teachers was commendable.
As a part of the motivational programme all the children were
provided with a participation certificate and a packet of biscuit towards the
end.
